(Denver = Wongeol Jeong) Today, at Coors Field, the Colorado Rockies had a home game against the Arizona D-Backs.


In this game, Rodgers took the plate as the fifth batter.


In the bottom of the 8th inning, Rodgers delivered a timely hit to left-center field against McGough, bringing Charlie Blackmon and Ezequiel Tovar home, tying the game at 4-4.


Next at-bat, Nolan Jones hit a single, allowing Ryan McMahon to score and giving the Rockies a 5-4 lead.


Alan Trejo hit a hit that went over the shortstop's head, with Brendan Rodgers crossing home plate this time. The score extended to 6-4.


Moving on to the top of the 9th inning, the Rockies sent Justin Lawrence as the closing pitcher. Lawrence struck out the first batter, Christian Walker, with a strikeout.
